Abstract

The aim of this study is to highlight the importance of E-government in the welfare of countries. In order to achieve the objectives, the descriptive and analytical approach will be used by presenting the Algerian sectoral strategies applied in the framework of activating E-government. We conclude from this study that the Algerian government has made remarkable progress in establishing the foundations of the government and it must make more efforts in order to achieve the required administrative quality, attracting more local and foreign investments, eliminating bureaucratic obstacles and overcoming difficulties in order to achieve a more competitive and dynamic economy.
